WHOM ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

All URM designers are welcome to apply. So, who belongs to an underrepresented group? At our offices, (and in the industry as a whole) we would like to see more people of African American, Hispanic and Native American decent. You must also be a designer. Either attending a design program, be a design school graduate or have documented experience as a designer.

WHEN WILL IT TAKE PLACE?

The internship stretches from October to December and applications are open all through May. There is a chance of employment down the line and you should know that this would be our dream scenario. But there are no guarantees. We do, however, promise you a foot in the door and our lifelong mentorship.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

You will be working in close collaboration with the creative director of our New York office. You will help create visual identities for multi-billion-dollar companies and express that identity in communication. We work hard and our working days are sometimes long, but we always offer each other friendliness and support.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?

Because our industry needs to reflect society. When it doesn’t, either discrimination or preconceived ideas of who should be doing what, are at play. This must change. The work we do is interesting, demanding and relatively well-paid. Everyone with enough talent deserves access. Also, when the most talented people represent our industry, instead of people from a certain background, it will evolve and become its best.
