The problem

Vår Gård Saltsjöbaden wanted to update their visual identity and their website to better reflect its modern yet historical yet welcoming meeting premises.

Our ambition

To create a brand identity which encompasses both the old heritage and today’s modern facilities.

Our process

We teamed up with Vår Gård Saltsjöbaden to dig deep into their historical archives and to hear more about the future ambitions for this uniquely rare place. We spent quite some time figuring out how to best visualize the intersection between the old and the new. We assigned renowned Finnish illustrator Linda Linko to create an illustration showing some of the unique architectural features that characterize Vår Gård. We developed the website and produced stationary, ads and print material.

The result

Soft and charming. Simple and interesting. The new identity conveys the unescapable warmth and hospitality that greets you when you first arrive to this unicorn of a hotel.
